ABI - Association of British Insurers
The Association of British Insurers (ABI), British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA) and the Government have signed an agreement to make it easier for older people to get motor and travel insurance, and to clarify how insurance premiums are priced to take account of risk including age.

AGE Platform Europe
- is a European network of around 165 organisations of and for people aged 50+ which aims to voice and promote the interests of the 150 million senior citizens in the European Union and to raise awareness on the issues that concern them most.
It publishes a monthly Newsletter which you might find interesting.

Money Advice Services (MAS)
is a free and impartial service set up by government. They offer money advice directly to people across the UK on the web, on the phone and face to face.
The MAS website now includes a locator tool which can be used to search for local places where free money and budgeting advice is available to the public. (From Later Life Newsletter No. 60)

The social networking site for the Over 60s and their families.
- Includes lots of useful information.
- Launched in 1997 by two GPs with an interest in providing evidence-based information on a wide range of health and medical topics for patients and health professionals.
This site provides health advice written by doctors as well as links to other useful sites.
You can check symptoms and read up about conditions and diseases as well as seeing lots of information about well-being.
